“I want them all….NOW”…says the impatient side of me.  I ordered the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Blendabilities sets just to see what the hubbub was all about. Well….I’m HOOKED! I never got into the Copic markers and missed all the fun there, but now I’m going to go deep into this Blendability thing.  I’ve got an order just waiting for me to hit the send button to order the rest of the sets.  Eeek…I’m so excited to get them!!!  I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas toys…. I’ve got visions of blended cards and craft projects dancing through my head!

Anyway, the photo above is my first attempt at playing with the markers and it’s proof how easy they are to use – the first card turned out just how I wanted it to!

I’ll be posting more cards as well as a “how to” video using the markers soon, so stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting and Happy Stamping!

Paper Pumpkin Party!

These are the 4 cards and gift box I pulled together for my Paper Pumpkin Party class. Lots of white space, which for me is hard to leave alone.  But….less is more, right?

Thanks for visiting – happy stamping!

Anything New Swap #2

Here’s card #2 for the organized swap I participated in at the 2014 Stampin’ Up! convention. This card didn’t come together nearly as easily as the last swap I posted. It looks nothing like how I thought it would when I first started – other than the color scheme {{sigh}} that’s so frustrating. However, I am VERY happy with the outcome. I hope my fellow swappers felt the same!

I love the new Gold Soiree DSP (#133697) used on the card pictured – it’s from the new 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! catalog. (click link to view the catalog) I’ll be posting more samples using this DSP in the near future, so stay tuned!

Here’s the card recipe: Watercolor Thank You (#135377), Beautiful Bunch (#134282 – clear),Gold Soiree DSP (#133697), Lovely Lace Textures Impressions Embossing Folder (#133737), Crisp Cantaloupe Thick Bakers Twine (#135636), Fun Flower Punch (#133785), White Vellum (#101856), Calypso Coral paper (#122925) and Ink (#126983), Pistachio Pudding paper (#131294 ) and ink (#131171), Crisp Cantaloupe paper (#131298) and ink (#131176), Ovals Collection Framelits (#129381), Occasions Paper Piercing (#129387), Calypso Coral Stampin’ Emboss powder (#133752) and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132).

I created this card for an organized swap at the 2014 Stampin’ Up! convention. I am REALLY enjoying the new photopolymer stamps. It took me a bit to get used to them, but the images they stamp are beautifully solid.

I imagined this card in my head at about 2:30 one morning (visions of stamps and ink were dancing in my head!) and, while I didn’t get up right away to put ink to paper, I did sketch it out. It came out very close to how I imagined it. That NEVER happens! I was so pleased…

Here’s the card recipe: Flower Patch stamp set and coordinating Framlit Dies (bundle #136788), Window Frame Collection Dies (#129021), all 2014-2016 In Color Inks and paper stock (kit #133673), Whisper White card stock (#100730), 3/8” Tangelo Twist Satin Ribbon (#133669), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Thanks for visiting – Happy Stamping!
