It’s something we all have in that junk drawer in the kitchen and believe it or not it can be used as a “stamp”. This is a technique I learned quite a long time ago. I was getting lost down the black hole that is Pinterest and saw a card that reminded me of it. When I pulled out the supplies and started playing, the card below – as well as the other cards shown – came together really quickly.
All you have to do is take a strip of masking or painters tape, press it down on your ink pad and then “stamp” it on your paper. It’s best to see how it’s done, so I demonstrated the technique in my Facebook Live on 3/24 (yep, I’m behind again) – click here to see how it’s done. It’s simple and really pretty!
This is a masculine card that could be for Birthday, Father’s Day, or Congratulations card. How fun would it be to use the school colors using this technique for the background on a graduation card!
The other cards I created turned out equally as quick – and cute! The possibilities for this technique are endless.
Here’s the recipe for the first card above. If you ware interested in ordering anything, please click on my store link on the right or give me a call.
Hope you are enjoying our summer weather – it’s been beautiful. Thanks for stopping by – Happy Stamping!Product List
