Fine Art Floral

What a beautiful weekend we had here in Minnesota! I enjoyed time around a campfire with some dear friends on Saturday afternoon and then in between coats of paint on my basement stairs, took a lovely long walk this afternoon in 62 degree weather. Sounds like we have a couple more days of this weather before we go back to “normal” March weather. I’ll take whatever I can get!

Because of that, I wasn’t near my computer or my craft room much this weekend, so I’m just getting around to posting tonight. The card I made for this past Friday’s Facebook Live is a bit of a departure from my usual designs. I had originally planned on showing some different masking techniques, but I had such a terrible week at my real job that, I didn’t have the time, or energy, to pull anything together. When I finally got in my crafting room, I pulled out the Simply Succulents suite that I hadn’t used yet. The large die in the set got my creative juices flowing in a different direction and I ended up with the card below. With this new card idea, I was also able to use the new Stampin’ Up blending brushes. The inspiration for the card colors came from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.

I’ve got a couple of other bundles sitting in my craft room that I haven’t had time to play with and I am hoping to do that this week. I’ll be back to Wednesday for my Facebook Live, so I’ll show what I was able to come up with.

If you want to know how this card was made or if you are interested in participating in my stamping classes on Tuesday, March 16 (click here) or Thursday, March 18, (click here) click on the link to sign up at or send me an email at And if you place an order with me, the March Host code is UT7R4XPP.

Have a great week and stay safe. Happy Stamping!
